Very good review, I like to see this game getting the credit it deserves. My only problem with it - and it's a fairly substantial one - is the claim there's a noticeable feel of its PC roots in its gameplay. The Witcher 2 (PC) was designed to work with the Xbox 360 pad, something that upset a lot of Witcher 1 fans as they built a new engine with this new system. I haven't played the 360 version but I'd assume the pad would be configured exactly the same and only noticeable difference should be in performance.

CD Projekt RED are a team to watch in the future, if the likes of Bioware and Bethesda get a little too cocky, they just might give them a slap in the face with their very own warhammer.
I concur. I played Witcher 2 on my PC with an Xbox 360 controller and found it worked really well. It actually seems like it would be rather awkward to play this game with a mouse / keyboard setup. Anyway, it is a great game and if your PC is ancient or you lack a decent GPU, then I encourage any RPG fan to try the 360 version. The amount of meaningful choices you get to make in this game is amazing. In that regard, it's like Poland's answer to the Growlanser series.
