I hope they implement where you can create your own class. Something like you get a set number of points, and each talent costs a certain number of points.

I liked in ME 3 where all classes could utilize all weapons, but weight would slow your cooldown time for powers. You could then decide if you wanted to have tons of weapons and just blast everything, or if you wanted to go mostly power detonations and a hard hitting gun. If they changed that, make the abilities to use each type of weapon a certain point total.

I found that with my Adept, I had way too many powers that I never used. I basicly took the Adept for the Singularity and Warp combo. Throw, Pull, Shockwave etc.. I barely used.

I much rather wouldve been able to select something like ammo types or shield reinforcement over powers that I never used. Hell, I wouldve traded 2 of my powers for just one alternate that I wouldve used.

I fail to see how a hand grenade falls under the powers tree. If I can utilize all forms of firearms, grenades should be packaged in. Pull pin and throw. Not rocket science.

I want to be able to tailor a class completely to my playstyle, and not have crap I dont ever use but am stuck with because I wanted a certain power.

Different playable races would be pretty cool as well. Get back to the RPG side of things with each race having different perks. Asari get bonuses to biotics, Krogan could get either a massive damage resist buff, or damage buff, things like that.

I have to ask the same thing here, but: those who love the game except the last fifteen minutes, did you only play through saving everyone or something?

Because pseudo-Rachni queen, pseudo Legion, and the myriad of "did not pay attention to the details, nor to your previous choices" moments are a big disappointment to me. Much like Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3 didn't get enough time to be done right.

And think about it, writers actually need years to bring out masterpieces of books that are just a thousand pages long. These guys' jobs are even more complex and have even more content and yet they're supposed to be able to do this in two years or something? Looking at this disaster, it's no wonder Blizzard always moves its release date two years or so. It's just not possible to create a good story fast.

No. EA made a great series and though it ended like poop it still was one of the best games I've ever play. If they do make some more, they wouldn't be this good ever again.

Sure is. Really was struck by that image.

I think this is a good idea, if it were more regulated. Instead of just letting you pick powers willy-nilly, classify powers into different categories and let the player pick 1-2 from each.

So, something similar to Kingdoms of Amalur? I agree though. I never once used the Cryo Blast power on my Sentinel in neither ME2 nor ME3. It's the same story with Concussive Shot or Cryo Ammo on Soldiers. I just never found a use for them.

Your idea is already in the game to a small extent, in the form of Bonus powers.

I also agree with Reylos. Do we really need humans?

Holy shit. Darknet changed his avatar. Hell hath frozen over?

A little more customization. I would have liked to have things appear on the ship after missions a bit more often. For example, my FemShep romanced Thane. I find it hard to believe that if you romanced him, after he died, she wouldn't have a picture of him or something, especially since my FemShep did not rekindle her romance with Kaidan.
That's something I missed from the ME2 DLC. Each DLC would add a small item to Shepard's cabin. Hopefully they continue this trend in ME3's DLC.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I loved 99% of ME1, ME2, and ME3. Just gravely disappointed in the ending.

I know I am in the minority, but I would like for them to leave combat alone - it seems just about right for me. I would be interested in having a bit more to customize. It would be interesting to have a hero of my own choosing - like Reylos said above - maybe give us a choice to pick an alien.

If TES can find a way to let you choose your race while still giving you a decent story, I think ME can too.

The space hamster was a cute addition and I was grateful for it, and I like the model ships, but I could have used a little more.

I know it's nitpicking, but these are small touches that I really notice that make me feel more connected to a game. I also spent time placing objects around my house in Skyrim and Oblivion to make it more 'mine'. Don't laugh - I have one save game in Oblivion where the Bruma house is filled with Aeylid statues. XD

I kind of want a Mass effect game that is similar to DA:O. I know the idea has already been done, but being able to select one of the three (four if we include humans, depending what time its set) council races (of either gender, however that could be difficult with the slarian females roles in their society), one of the standard mass effect classes, (or maybe completely new ones) and then adding some sort of interesting plot that doesn't have an awful ending sounds fun to me.

I'm not really sure how they would top villains like the reapers, but if they set this years before the humans made first contact (thus no playable humans) they could make your character a spectre or whatever. Maybe even include the Rachni wars.

OR (Bare with me) they could let us play through one of the previous cycles (The original cycle that created the reapers? Or just a random one?) and let us see how that played out. Even though we would know everyone dies horribly. But still, it would be interesting.

^ Those are the only prequels I would play. I couldn't care less about Anderson and the first contact war. Humans are so boring.

This is EA. Expect Mass Effect 4 and Mass Effect Xt3m3 racing next summer.
I think it'll more likely be called Mass Effect: Terminus system or something like that, but that's only quibbling. I think the franchise will probably indeed get squeezed to death, depending on Bioware's contract with EA.

I would have loved to be able to do this, maybe as an unlock for a second runthrough.
