ok, so in colony 9 under "Anti-Air Battery Three", there is this dragon looking thing. If you go up to it in the beginning, it gives you a little tutorial about "Rare" monsters. Now, I have only played the game through once and I don't think I have ever come across another "rare" monster. unless those are the ones with names... which is basically my question.

Q- What are the rare monsters and where are more located?

thnx in advance.

Sounds like something fun that will add a good amount of replay value to the game.

Once you reach the Max level it's pretty easy to beat anything under it, but the seven or so monsters above it should provide quite a challenge. You need to optimise your characters pretty damn perfectly.

Yeah, depends where you are really. After about the 2/3 point, if you've got a strong team, been doing all the side quests and have some topple combos then it's definitely possible when isolating the enemy (still very challenging). Anyone in the red is going to be a tough fight, but I just found over 10 levels higher to be impossible. If you want to beat the level 120 monster then you're going to have to get used to it
What black magic is this?

I don't know how I missed that 0.o

nooo I was gonna delete my post to hide the fail T.T I checked the guide for rare monsters, there are indeed monsters over 99 T.T but thats messed up, you can only reach level 99 yourself.
the one thats 120 is abyssal avalanche, a dragon apparently.

Oh are you talking about that big ape that's blocking the path of the little rock where you I like running up to that thing just to see how much damage he'll hit when the Monado senses his attack. Or do you mean the one that's usually seen hanging around the Ponios? Either way they're both super scary...

Haha well there has to be something to keep you on your toes right. If not those areas would be kind of boring.
