Well, they're the supposed new characters, at least. We don't know for sure that they are actually Pokemon-related yet. Thy do look protagonist-esque, and they do look (at least as best I can tell from the tiny image we have yet) sort of like they are in Sugimori's style. But they guy on the left seems to have an afro, which makes me suspicious.

The first images from CoroCoro have started to come, with this one featuring the cover art. Hidden in the cover of this issue, in addition to informing us of Black 2 & White 2 information, is the revelation of Meleotta's Pirouette Forme sitting in the title of CoroCoro as seen to the right, indicating it will be showcased in full during the issue. For those not in the know, Meloetta's Pirouette Forme is a Normal/Fighting-type and changes from the Normal/Psychic-type Aria Forme when a move, Relic Song, is used in battle. The image also showcases what many believe may be new characters, but there is no evidence to support them being related to Pokémon at this time. Images from the issue are expected any moment now so keep checking back

squiggle bath, that battle should probably be in the intro. Or it could be like Emerald where the evil team plans go out of control, and the two are battling each other.
They can't battle each other as part of the story; there's only one Kyurem. That battle between them that they're showing next week will simply be to showcase the two new forms in battle (and because it's cooler to have the battling each other).
