TBH, it feels like Dragonball Z combined with One Piece. Which isn't bad. And yes, while Toriko and Komatsu do have a vague homosexual relationship, it does has some pretty awesome art and story going on.

Or it could mean when Ichigo is using Bankai, more of his shinigami powers come through, so it would still make sense..

If I hadn't already decided to drop buying the series after the end of the Arrancar arc, then I would have done with this chapter. Plot-twist for the sake of plot-twist is an understatement.

Now it makes no freakin' sense what Young Zangetsu is, or why he tried so desperately to prevent Ichigo from learning a technique to perma-remove his Shinigami powers. Kinda feels like the character of Zangetsu has been ruined now. Asspull

Though I actually thought this chapter was decent for Bleach. I still don't think the events should've taken a full chapter, Even after 500+ chapters of Bleach, Kubo still hasn't learned how to best manage his panels for maximum story telling.
