Sold! Sold! F'in sold /so/ hard. Boderlands is great, this sequel is only an improvement on already great game so far... and I am STOKED.

I think, come September 18, I'm gonna be playing as Axton the Axeman.

Take my money, all of it.
Seriously, this game looks *bleep*ing boss, I really hope September 18th means the release date, because I can not wait any longer for this game. Of course if it did get pushed back to polish out the game I wouldn't mind.
All of these characters look incredibly awesome, I'm liking this cast way more than the original 4. I might have to play as Axton first, then Maya, then Zero, then Salvador. Not too sure yet.

Hot damn. This is going to be a really, really, really good game.
If all this speculation is correct, it looks like the only two characters I'll ever use will probably be Axton and Zero. Didn't care for the Siren or Berserker in the first game.
Also, did I mention I can't *bleep*ing wait? Because I can't *bleep*ing wait.

In terms of parallels, it's looking like...
Salvador = Berserker + Soldier [Incorporating Berserker's tankiness, while being geared toward more of a support gunner Soldier role] Zero = Siren + Hunter [Borrowing the stealthiness of Phasewalk while probably being the resident sniper as well] Axton = Soldier plus [That turret kinda says it all.] Maya = Fresh slate [Probably retaining Lilith's "I'm pretty much able to do *bleep*ing anything" status, but perhaps leaning more towards crowd control/support, judging by the skills you can catch a glimpse of in the trailer]
Harmony Skill Tree? Mind's Eye: Increases Critical Hit damage and Melee Damage. [+6% each per level. Max 5] Sweet Release: Killing an enemy who you currently have Phaselocked creates Life Orbs, which automatically heal the party. [Life Orbs Created +1, Each Life Orb heals +2% of your health per level. Max 5] Wreck: While you have an enemy Phaselocked, you gain increased Fire Rate and Damage with all gun types. [+10% Fire rate, +6% damage per level. Max 5] Recompense: Taking Health damage has a chance to cause your shields to instantly start charging. Also increases your shield recharge rate. [+10% chance to trigger, +5% shield recharge rate per level. Max 5] Res: You can instantly revive a downed friend by using Phaselock on him/her. [Max 1] Elated: While you have an enemy Phaselocked, you and your friend Regenerate Health [Regenerates +1% of your health per second per level. Max 5]
Motion Skill Tree? Accelerate: Increases damage and bullet speed with all gun types. [Gun Damage +3%, Bullet Speed +5% per level. Max 5] Ward: Improves your Shield Capacity and Shield Recharge delay. [Shield Capacity +9%, Shield Recharge Delay -8% per level. Max 5] Suspension: Increases the duration of Phaselock. [Phaselock Duration +0.5 seconds per level. Max 5] Kinetic Reflection: After killing an enemy, you gain the ability to reflect enemy bullets, sending them flying back towards your enemies. This effect lasts a short time. [Reflection Chance +8% per level. Max 5] Inertia: Killing an enemy causes your shields to quickly regenerate and increases your reload speed for a few seconds. [Regenerates +1% of your Shields per second, Reload Speed +14% per level. Max 5]

So both Siren and Soldier return. Salvador looks like the equivalent of Berserker, and the Ninja class replaces Hunter, which is a pity since Hunter would be my 2nd pick after Siren in Borderlands.

I hope september 18th doens't mean the release date?
