I think kraken means about spot where gyppy throw poison gas and you can't be hit either by poison bombs and his tail swip. I used this tactics but i can't describe it well where you should stand. And also gs isn't good weapon for that, i was always using sns.

idk specifically what you mean by between the legs. a weapon that keeps you in one spot is gs with upswing downswing combo.
you cant cut kutku or chepy/plessy. you can cut gyp head crystal. raths you can cut tail, wing claws, and head. grav and bas are chest and tail. blos are horn and tail.
hr you need to complete certain quests
The Land Shark Trouble in the Swamp Jungle Menace Attack of the Yian Kut-Ku Catch a Yian Kut-Ku Catch a Gypceros
which i believe are all in last list of hr1 quests.
also its best to search up your questions before you post, for your questions were already in there.

I am writing now to say i am playing MHF again AND more importantly i have three major problems- 1. how do u get "in between the legs of a gypcy? I know getting under the 'spike' thingie' at the beggining of the tail but even then i cant stay were i am (give me a weapon which you dont move while using?) 0_o 2. how do you cut stuff off non-G wyvwerns? (Basics-Yian Kut-Ku, Gypceros, Ra thalos/thian, cephadrome ETC) NOT GARUGA ( know about him BTW) 3. How to get higher Than HR 1????
