quote The StingerThis is not a glitch/bug this is a reoccurring quest that never goes away they are called tasks ans some of them never go away. There are actually quite a few of these in the game. Perhaps you should visit the blog on the actual games web site b4 making these assumptions.I noticed that as well, but by the time I noticed it I already had well over 250k in gold.
Hooray for Detect Hidden, Blacksmithing, and Sagecraft.
Also I seem to have the damndest luck with loot drops. Im all sorcery, and all the set items, and most of the purples I find are either Might or Finesse based. Doesnt do crap for me as a sorcerer.
Ive sold a couple of those items for 17k and 22k. Plus any gems I put together I normally sell anywhere from 5k to 9200. I only have 1 point in Mercantile as well, so no telling how profitable this could be once I get around to being able to put some points there.
Also, does anyone know if the ME3 Shepard Armor is always Might Based? I activated my pass well after I created my character so I dont know if its based on the character you create or what. I thought it sucked pretty hard as a Mage not being able to use it AT ALL.
I couldnt sell it to a vendor, as its price was 0 and I couldnt break it down for components at a table either. They shouldve had some variants of that outfit for all 3 class types. Ah well. What did I expect for free right?
quote Twilighti just sell every rouge/mage item i find.Even though money is very easy to make in the game, esp once you are able to access this exploit, or glitch, whichever term you prefer, I thought I'd share since I just noticed it myself. xD
Once you find the city of Didenhall, and you will know you found it as a gentleman just before entering the city will be attack by Boggers (Or whatever those things are) and you will start a Bloodplague quest. Anyways, once you find this city, crossing the bridge and the first building you come to on the left is the Crafting Hall, enter it and go downstairs to the Alchemist is an "!" above his head.
The quest requires you to get 3 things:
He tells you where to find the two reagents, and those two reagents are what makes the Blazing Salve.
- Scarwood Bark
- Blazing Salve
Anyways, once you have these items, in whatever manner you wish to turn them in, do so. You will be rewarded with gold (I don't remember how much exactly but it's in the 500 range, but if I do it again, I will write it down.) The part of the exploit here is you still have the quest after you turn these items in. I thought "Oh, he just wants me to collect more things." Even though there isn't a ?/? displayed, I thought to try it out. I gave him two Blazing Salves and a least 10 of each reagent and still didn't complete the quest. Then I Googled it and it's an exploit, glitch, or bug, again, your preference.
At the time of doing this quest I am lvl 11 and have 35k gold, so it's pretty useless to me but maybe some of you who are having money troubles might find this handy.
Note: Please don't come in the thread complaining about people abusing or not abusing this exploit because I don't care, I'm just sharing the information I found.
quote ArtirticoYes please. I am so afraid that I have missed a ton of unique weapons and set gear. What about an option to buy unique gear and set items that you've not yet come across?
