Hello all, just thought I'd start a general discussion thread where we can discuss whatever's on your mind.

Yeah, basically I got an iPad when it was the only tablet really worth getting and liked it. A lot. Then, when the time came around to upgrade my phone, the iPhone 5 was only days away, so I jumped on it.
I still adore Android and play around with ROMs on my old Desire Z, but I don't have much time for it these days, as I'm getting ready for my post grad, so the iPhone was kinda the best choice I had at the time.

The Nexus 4 is such an awesome phone. No regrets here! Nothing against iOS though, I just like the openness of Android.
Monsieur Rapples, I believe it was after he got an ipad and liked it (at least I think he got an ipad). I was kinda the opposite in that I realized the ipad is awesome for what it is, but phones are way different and I love my Nexus. I liked my Focus more than the iPhone too.
Also, just noticed I overtook tommex as the top poster for the forum (probably awhile ago now, but I just noticed), too bad he left us behind for the iForums. I kid, I kid!

How dare you.
Sent from my iPhone 5.

After a few days, I've still got to say chat heads are pretty nifty and I almost wish that I never needed to go into the full Messenger app to start new conversations but that's okay I guess

That's nifty... I downloaded the Facebook Home app last night... bit meh. But the chatheads app is nice.
Yeah, using it to call someone is awkward, unfortunately. But I really, rarely use my phone to call someone. Makes me wonder when they're going to stop calling them "smartphones"... seems like most people forget they're even phones, me included. XD

Haha, welcome back to the club buddy! One of the newest examples of being able to do so much more would be chatheads.
As for the Note 2 in specific, definitely a huge phone but I can see it being nice any time other than talking at which point it might just be awkward. Here comes the second rising of the bluetooth headsets.

Finally back with Android after almost 2 years! Got a Samsung Galaxy Note II, and loving it. The screen size is nice, but talking into it is a bit awkward. Honestly, don't know why I ever settled for an iPhone in the first place, or why I did for so long... you can do so, so, sooo much more with an Android.

Both phones look really good. The back of the Nexus 4 is really a thing of beauty; when held to the light, it sparkles. It's a really nice touch. But like I said before, the back is also made of glass, so it's more prone to breaking. On top of that, the glass makes the phone feel slippery in the hand. I prefer the One X's build.
All of that is moot of course if you have a case, which I do.
