quote HU1CH13Ahaaaaaaaa,quote KR_1250Can't argue with you on the luck front, easily the biggest thing when going for a factor.Mneh, i guess, thats some pretty weak advantages though. I'd say plain old luck is a much more deciding factor than counting kills. I count kills anyway and pressing the "back" button shows your kills in a fraction of a second.
Viewed another way, if i get a 25 gun streak whilst using my setup it means i get 3 Predators, 3 chopper and 2 Overwatch choppers. And if you do what i do and bring both choppers out at once they ussualy anhialate people trying to take the other one down. Also, any kills the support gets is potentialy stopping an enemy from achieving their own streaks which could hamper your efforts to get to 25.
That is also one HELL of a lot of a distraction for the other team. A big chunk of the kills i got were people trying to take em out and not concentrating on me, also the chopper keep a pretty clean sweep of the map and forces the enemy to constantly respawn, you always know where they are gonna be. Then you add up the dudes taking cover in obvious places and watch the choppers tracers to locate bad guys.... mneh, i think the "support" side of assault is massively under-rated. Used properly a chopper just spots targets. Not only that but the overwatch is like a motion sensor, any time you get within a specific range of an enemy it not only shoots to highlight they are there, but also points big tracer bullets right at em.
I also see great advantages in terms of "Support" when going for a MOAB aswell, especially in terms of UAV, AUAV and EMP. Dont use support though, just preferance.
I still dont see a great advantage for specialist with regards to MOAB's if you use a class and weapon which your comfortable with. But hey, if folk are happy using it then im not gonna shoot em down for their personal choices. Plus i'm more than happy fighting them. Enemies which are no harder to kill but dont get any choppers, airstrikes or even UAV's ? Yes f***ing please !!!
For me, the usefullness (is that even a word?) on Support would depend on how much the enemy is using Assassin or even Specialist themselves, maybe you get lucky and don't bump into many Assassin users at all, for me I need Quickdraw on AR's, but then have Assassin as my first perk for my Specialist Streak.
The thing for using Assault killstreaks for me is just playing a gamemode that will give you enough time/chance of a high enough killcount to allow a 25 gunstreak plus however many kills you get with your Preds, Cobras, Overwatches, AC's and Pavelows etc, for CTF, unless you're playing with randoms that don't know the meaning of CTF and think you need a full team of defenders, it ain't gunna happen. Besides, if the enemy keep on shooting that shit down it's just gunna feed them pointstreaks.
But hey, if it works for you then effin' do it.

quote GLaDOS portalYeah im the same.I don't really go for MOABs I have never gotten one and I don't plan on trying.
The closest I got was a 16 kill streak with a UMP.
The closest I've gotten to a MOAB was 22 kills w/hardline pro on. I decided to run out in the middle of the map rambo style and attempt to get a double kill. Bad *bleep*ing mistake.

Twice on Outpost and once on mission, all using a Striker and none of which was using the specialist streaks. One time it didnt count as the game ended before i called it in.
For me "Specialist" is over-rated. I wish every enemy used it. I also fail to see how it helps you get a MOAB more easily than the other streak setups. I have never felt that 3 perks isnt enough.
I run Predator, Chopper, overwatch on almost every class.
However I have been interested to see if using UAV and CUAV with something like the P90 or ACR suppressed using Scavenger, Assassin and Sitrep all Pro would help getting a 25 gun killstreak but chances are since a lot of people use Assassin, the answer will be no.
I don't know, for me personally, I think rushers are better off with Specialist, shame we don't get some extra shit to make us fully immune to Dead Man's Hand and Final Stand herpa derp.
