If there was a sequel which of the following would you like to see happen?
A.) Returning characters from the original as the main characters again. And with Shibuya as the main setting again.
B.) A completely new cast with a new setting.
C.) A mix of both A and B but mostly I want to see old returning characters.
D.) A mix of both A and B but mostly I want to see new characters.
E.) Whatever square enix makes. (And it better be good.) D=<

^That is disturbingly close to what I want. And by disturbingly close, I mean an exact match. I love villain-POV sequels. XD
"I AM A DWARF AND I'M DIGGING A HOLE!!!!!"
DIGGY DIGGY HOLE I'M DIGGING A HOLE

I'd like a prequel, I guess. Focusing on Reapers (read: including a generous amount of Sho) might be a good idea - we don't see enough from a Reaper POV ingame. I'd also like to learn more about the 'antagonist-y' characters. How did Josh become Composer? Why is Sho so power-obsessed? What do Reapers do when they're chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool? And just for teh lulz... why don't the Wall Reapers ask the players to do totally absurd stuff (eg: go into a shop and run around shouting "I AM A DWARF AND I'M DIGGING A HOLE!!!!!" while pretending to be rabbits) to get past walls?

I'm sure there are other districts with other Games (why else would Joshua refer to himself as "Shibuya's Composer" instead of just "the Composer?") and I'm pretty sure that different districts have different rules. I can't think of a specific line where someone says that at the moment, but I do know that whenever there's a new Composer, they rewrite the rules of that district as part of the process of taking the seat. (That was in a secret report.) So it would follow that different Composers think of different rules.

I don't think it's ever been stated if different cities have different rulesets (hell, I don't even remember if its official that theres more than one game) but that's pretty cool. The only problem I see is that if there's different ways of it working, it might not feel TWEWY enough.

Legendary Boss Hunter
Here's my idea of a sequl.
New main characters with a whole new city. A new city since every city's rules for the Reaper Game are different, correct? And let the game take place about 6 years in the future and for some odd reason a few of the main characters have moved into this city and allow them to be cameos, so that we can see how they played out there lives from the first game. And other than that I really wouldn't mind what they did with the game as long as they don't *bleep* it up.

The masked man
Yes. I would like there to be an entirly new cast of people. Its not that i don't like the people from the first game, i just think that there story has been told. I would like to see cameo apearences from them, the only person that i think could/should be a cross over main character would be rhyme (older) because she really dosn't have a lot of screen time and so were not so familiar with her. But the importent thing is that they make the game with the same vibe and quality as the original. I mean yea it would be great to have another game with Neku, Shiki, and Beat ( Joshua can go to hell. I hate that guy.) but i wouldn't want to see them make a huge plot hole just to get them back into another game.
And if they made a Sequel based on tin pin slammer i would scream and jump through the nearest window.(in a bad way)
