i hate this man everyone gets mad about people using a certain gun or perk and tells them they suck and cant play the game right and screem vulgur statments when we both bought the game and both choose a way to play it

To be fair DuckRecon you make some decent points.
I get sick of the eletism around here, this place can, CAN be a prime example of call of duty wankness. Its not perticularly insulting or offensive, its just boring. I just lend no time or respect to overly judgemental or aggresive people. Like real life it is ussualy an attempt to make up for something. Mneh... doesnt bother me in the slightest. I know the game, i play well and i dont listen to their sh1te.
People did pay their money, and if they play within the rules and dont hack then they DO have as much right as anyone else. You can argue that until your blue in the face but go home, turn on your concole and see it for yourself. You are arguing against an inevitibility. And all this courtesy stuff... im supposed to be killing these people. I understand that sportsmanship is important I.E not hacking or dashboarding, but I'm not gonna roll out the biscuits and cheese before i cap em.
Having said that, sitting in one bin for an hour, or only getting kills by being a little shit is ussually not teaching a player anything. They will probably never, ever be as good as the guys they are killing with tactics like that. They will get lucky from time to time sure, but they will never get any better and will potentially always be a little bottom scraper. Hey, if they are happy with that then so be it. They did afterall pay the same as i did and for me thats valid.
The truth is there is a debate to be had here, but with peoples emotions so involved in this game it wont ever be a sensible one.
However i do disagree with you about gun "looks". I want a gun to be offenisve and ugly looking, i want it to look scary and confusing. I dont want to use the pretty little ACR or the dainty little ladies handbag that is the FMG-9. Give me a big stinkin' ugly striker, AA-12 or an AK-47 any day.

I have nothing against "cheap" tactics. Usually the reason I don't use them is because I don't like whatever gun is "cheap" at the time. I think the Striker is an ugly gun. I remember seeing a video of some guy showcasing a FMG at some gun show. I'm like "that gun is ugly as hell". Sure enough, it's in Call of Duty now. The MP7 maybe I can get into, but having a little gun as my primary is still weird to me.
In other words, I like running around with guns I think are cool. Maybe some day my fun for the game is going to come from getting high kill counts by being "cheap". Either way, I'm not going to be bothered by you getting mad at how I play.
I personally don't agree with the whole "I paid for this I can do what I want" mentality. But really, the developers put these guns in the game for you to use. If I pick up some gun and do well with it and I'm like WHEE, then I'm just going to take your criticism as you being mad that I'm doing well for once in my pathetic life.
Also, I've always regarded "camping" as a legitimate playstyle. I just find it boring. If you've got the patience to do it, more power to ya.
Aha. I won a game of Sabotage tonight by taking the bomb, picking off one person and running straight to their spawn and planting. The game was over in less than one and a half minutes, and I finished 1-1-1.
However, in the lobby afterwards, a guy wasn't happy that I went for the objective. He said that we had over 15 minutes time-wise and that we should get as many kills as possible, not plant the bomb. I pretty much told him to *bleep* off and play TDM
Oh my god, Sabotage is a hilarious game mode. I play objective and often plant the bomb and the game is over within seconds. I heard a kid in MW2 say stop doing the objective Sabotage is for getting attachments. I was like LOL *plant bomb*
But yeah, I always used the M16A4 over it too. Hated the FAMAS, took too long to reload, didn't like the iron sights and it looked ugly, especially with optics on it. I also believe the M16A4 was more accurate.
I think any weapon with a "handle" on top is ugly. I understand why it's there, but I still find it incredibly ugly.

The CoD community is the worst in all of gaming and this thread is an example of why.
Now I see where both sides of this dumb argument are coming from, but I'm gonna tell you guys just why you are all retarded!
To the "I paid $60 dollars I can do whatever I want" guys: this is true, and more power to you for doing it, but that does not mean you aren't being an asshole, the goal of the game is to win and you're doing just that. People are complaining because you are stopping them from enjoying their game, and you crying about them crying isn't helping, SO STOP YOUR BITCHING.
To the "Lol you guys are noobs, you idiots need to have etiquette and let everyone have fun" guys: The goal of the game is to WIN, what other players are doing should not be bothering you unless they are actually cheating. Are people doing something that's "cheap"? Quit your bitching and get better. Figure out a strategy to beat what they are doing. Complaining about how they are ruining the game is retarded, figure out a way to win, since winning is the goal of the game.

I agree with the original poster. If i buy a game I want to play that game however the hell i want. I don't need no idiot telling me what to do or not to do. Don't like what i do? go play another game.
