Still getting the error message.
:/
**Edit: Oops, okay, I got it working! Thanks, I did something with the 'Path' thing, and now it's working. Thanks!

Try "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe".

Hi, I followed the directions and uninstalled all of my previous Javas and installed the 64-bit version from cnet. Honestly, I'm not that tech savvy (actually, I have absolutely no computer skills, heh) and frankly, I'm not sure what I did to the thing when I was trying to change the 'Path' thing that was mentioned earlier, though.
Hell, it was a few days ago and I don't remember. Apparently, I did something wrong. I'm pretty sure I messed up somewhere along the 'Path' part with the "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin;" thing. All I know is that when I try to launch Minecraft, it gives me an error saying: "No JVM could be found on your system. Please define EXE4J_JAVA_HOME to point to an installed 34-bit JDK or JRE from wwwjavacom"
*Is very confused* I fail when it comes to computers, hehe.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Oh, and I have Windows 7.

I believe if you run Minecraft through the command line or a .bat file, you can decide to open it with 64 bit Java in particular. I think this is how it would go:
This must be run in the same folder as the minecraft.jar.

Hi. I have Java 7 64 bits and 32 bits (because I use Firefox, and this shit can't go with the 64 u.u). I did the Path thing but it seems to Minecraft that ain't no shit changed... it only recognizes the 32 bits version. Can anyone help? Thanks!
I prefer to use java 6 so if you want the link to all versions of JRE 6 it's here
Java 6 is the version, not what the OP was talking about. 64 bit software uses data units that are 64 bits wide, as opposed to 32 bits wide. However, a 64 bit version of Java, like the one you listed will only work if you have a 64bit processor.
Erm, yeah I know that. I was providing a link to Java 6 because your link was to Java 7.
Also, make sure you remember to change the default run path xXCommonXx otherwise you are still only using the 32-bit version anyway.
