Yes, it's the hard version.

Some "complex language" was dumbed down, and some moves were removed. I believe Easy Type is Japanese Super Famicom exclusive, though I may be wrong.

Easy Type is overall a dumbed down experience. It isn't actually "easier", so don't bother.

I just realized that there is easy and hard type for FF IV.

I am currently playing in the PSX version, and have read that it is quite close to the real FF IV. (In terms of accuracy, music, etc.)

But....I am only 2 hours and I can feel it is a difficult, difficult game.......I also have dark wave attack for Cecil and Tellah can use Recall. Is this the hard version?

What other differences are there?
