Welcome all to the NeoSinger thread. The anime board had this awesome idea to steal follow the ways of 4chan and try our hands at singing terribly and putting the compilation of everyone's voices together.
For an idea of what we're talking about here is a video.
Whether your voice resembles angelic symphonies or ear shattering screeches, we don't care. This is all in the spirit of fun, so gather 'round, have some fun, and sing to your hearts content.
The flow of creating these songs:

1) Through a nomination process, we will decide which song to sing 2) Once we have decided, everyone will make their own audio recording of the song 3) All of the recordings will be compiled 4) Results will either be posted on youtube or uploaded to a download site.
The nomination process:

In order to cut down on available choices, I'll restrict nominations down to one song per person. In order to make it to the voting stage, your nomination must gather support from three other people. And to further ensure that we won't have so many candidates, each person can support only 3 different songs.
After nominations are in, you can cast your votes for the song you wish to sing in this thread or by PMing me.
Also please before you nominate a song, check if you are willing to sing the song.
NOTE:Please check if the song you nominate has an instrumental released. Good places to start are Gendou and YouTube.
Easy Ways to Record:

1) Windows 7 comes with a sound recorder under your Start menu and Accessories. 2) Download Audacity or similar program to record your voice. 3) If you lack a mic, fear not, you can use your phone to record your singing and either send it to me via Email or by uploading it to the computer and sending it to me
NOTE: Please only include the vocals when recording. Currently, it is impossible for me to extract vocals from an audio file.
How to Submit:

So due to the fact that I'm behind on like a dozen or do episodes of airing anime, the releases of KS and LB!, and on top of that I still have my real world schtick, this'll probably be delayed more.
Not to mention I still only have Toast's and Mastix's recordings. If more come in, I'll probably be arsed to do it. *wink wink*
