Coins are completely different, actually. You receive coins as a thank you for buying new games and completing surveys on the Club Nintendo website. If you're in Europe they are called stars, I believe, but serve the same purpose. You can then use coins to send in for rewards, like free game downloads or memorabilia. It's not a currency used in the online shop like Microsoft points are.

Still not that familiar with the coins thing, I suppose it's the DS's version of Microsoft points. I'm hoping to pick up some more DS games, I haven't had the chance to play Fire Emblem, which I was stoke to get.

New games!
3D Classics Excitebikes and Art Style Aquia for 3DS, 150 and 100 coins respectively.
Super Mario RPG and Maboshi's Arcade for Wii/Wii U, 200 and 150 coins respectively.
Most of the stuff that I actually want on there, I actually have. So I may just keep my coins and when they release something awesome, I will have enough to get it. I already hit 800 coins which is the most I ever had at one time.
That's the most points I've ever had at one time as well, and I spent them on Collection 2.
