Have trolls sometimes made a spam post directly after one of yours, you tell them off, they delete their spam post, and then it looks like you've double posted? Have mods told the double poster off in those circumstances?
HAHAHAHA i'm sure they got a verbal spanking, man. don't worry
I dunno, it's kind of obvious when it happens. If a post has been deleted inbetween messages you can usually tell! The poster just looks like they're talking to themselves, which (hopefully) isn't the case
Mods are intelligent, good looking and sexy people (Aurora ;D), they can pick up on these things!

seriously tho it's pretty hard to double post by accident these days, neo's gotten lots better i remember a while back when i clicked the button twice (by accident) a double post would appear
now that's not the case, so it's kinda nice haha :3

Mouldy Cheese is right, but I think it can also be used in cases where a user has posted different messages multiple times in a row. Moderators usually merge them.

Duplicate post is intended for use when a poster has accidentally hit the submit button twice, or posted the exact same post multiple times in a row (either by accident or intentionally). It can be used to report a double post as all reports are checked over by moderators, who will undoubtedly see the problem when you've hit the "duplicate post" button for either a double post or duplicate.

When you report a post, one of the options is 'duplicate post'. Does it mean the same as a double post or something similar?
