) and just answer a couple if you can, it would be much appreciated.quote flobbadobDude, mage is better. they really buffed up the mage in DA2. the mage is the best class in the game imo.for mage build; willpower-magic for rouge-dexterity and cunning. for the warriors-constitution,strength.So i recently got dragon age 2, ive never played a dragon age game, but i am experienced with rpgs. So heres the questions (probably more than a few XD).
1. Im currently playing a 2h weapon warrior, for attributes im putting 2 str and 1 const per level with the occasional level where i put all str. Is this okay?
2.Also, for rogue should it be 2 dex and 1 cunn per level, or do they need other stats too.
3. For mages is it 2 magic and 1 willpower/constitution (alternate)? These are just the things im doing at the moment with my party so i just want to know if they are ok.
4. For any character class should i be trying to focus on 2 skill trees, or just try to perfect one. For my 2h warrior (im like, level5) im just focusing on the 2h wep tree, which other tree's should i use, and which ones would be beneficial.
5.I dont really understand how to use the tactics wheel, i know it is similar to mass effect 2 (which i have played), but i cant really use it properly.
Here are the questions in a shortened format
1. Attribute build for warrior?
2.Attribute build for rogue?
3. Attribute build for mage?
4. How many skill trees should i try and focus on and what other tree is good for a 2h warrior.
5. How to use the tactics wheel, tactically?
Please answer any you can, or direct me to some sort of guide which might have some faq's.
Thanks for reading (or attempting to read) and just answer a couple if you can, it would be much appreciated.
quote flobbadobthe tactics arent in a wheel. do you mean the dialog wheel? if so check this page.5.I dont really understand how to use the tactics wheel, i know it is similar to mass effect 2 (which i have played), but i cant really use it properly.
quote deadriclady kristyyou really dont need that much Willpower IMO. 2 Will, 1 Magic is ok until you get to like 25 or 30 Will, after that pump full Magic. that will ensure your spells stay awesome. you have to remember you will be finding tons of magic potions that you can simply replenish your mana if you run low but i rarely ran out of mana in my mage playthrough. only happened during boss fights when i was constantly firing spells. just sipped a mana pot and i was good to go. if you keep going what you said youll end up with a huge mana pool that youll never come close to draining, but wimpy spells and thats no good.3. I'm ALWAYS a mage... they kinda kick a**. Just level them up with as MUCH WILLPOWER (or whatever the thing is to give them more stamina/mana) until it reaches like 30. Then level up with 2 in Willpower and 1 in Magic.... you should be OKAY and READY TO KILL ORSINO ;D
quote flobbadobMainlining strength is a good idea for a warrior. If you find yourself dying concentrate a bit more on constitution. Other than that, put a point into willpower once in a while, it'll allow you to use more talents.1. Im currently playing a 2h weapon warrior, for attributes im putting 2 str and 1 const per level with the occasional level where i put all str. Is this okay?
quote flobbadobConstitution and willpower for more health and stamina. Definitely don't invest anything in strength as deadriclady kristy suggested, that's completely useless. You'll need 40 cunning to open all locks. However, you only need thirty by the end of the second act, and forty by the end of the third act. So, no need to rush too far ahead. You should mainline dexterity, it ups damage and critical chance, but keep in mind what you want of the other stats.2.Also, for rogue should it be 2 dex and 1 cunn per level, or do they need other stats too.
quote flobbadobI wouldn't put it that rigidly, but it sounds good, especially if you're going nuker. There are builds you can do where you don't need too much magic, though.3. For mages is it 2 magic and 1 willpower/constitution (alternate)? These are just the things im doing at the moment with my party so i just want to know if they are ok.
quote flobbadobFirst go for your two-handed tree, that is the most important. If you can't invest in it, go for something else. The Second Wind skill is a very useful one to have, as well as Deep Reserves in the same skill tree. Other than that, you'll probably want to invest in specializations. Feel free to experiment with different builds though.4. For any character class should i be trying to focus on 2 skill trees, or just try to perfect one. For my 2h warrior (im like, level5) im just focusing on the 2h wep tree, which other tree's should i use, and which ones would be beneficial.
quote flobbadobCan't help you there, sorry.5.I dont really understand how to use the tactics wheel, i know it is similar to mass effect 2 (which i have played), but i cant really use it properly.
The final fights are easy anyway.
