Therapeutic Thursday

Research has shown that of all external stimuli of the human brain, music is the most consistently powerful at altering mood and emotion. Therapeutic Thursday aims to take advantage of this connection and give readers a chance to simply relax by offering them a brief moment of peace from the daily grind so they can slow down and unwind utilizing the combined effects of music and art. The process is rather simple: I will offer a relaxing audio track consisting of either music or ambient sounds, and provide some imagery to create a sense of calm and peace.

There are times when one sees a work of art they can only describe as "peaceful", and the effect such works have on our minds is great. Hopefully, through the process of clearing the mind and viewing the works presented, artists can find some temporary inner peace and even some inspiration for future works, either created through scratch or as a photographer.

Today, I offer up this track:

No doubt it's relaxing.

I've had a few of my lps inspired by music, but none of them were similar to this chill tune.
