I spent 3 days trying to do the same thing you did.

However after lots of frustration and the fact that Tager being blue doesn't make sense, I decided to give up.

Lo and behold however, that time I just went with the flow, Tager got the best Nature for his kind.

It is boring. Really, really boring. The problem is, I'd have to do a global trade for a pokemon to use the Masuda method. And the issue with that, is that every single person wants to trade their pokemon, for either a L100 rare, a L1-10 rare, or a L100 starter. No one wants to trade their Japanese Ditto for a level 40 Watchog. >.<

Also, I know that how long it took other's to get their shiny starter doesn't effect me at all, I'm just curious. :3

Personally, I would rather breed for a shiny, especially using the masuda method (which I cant do because I dont have wifi xD). SRing for a shiny starter just seems so boring ._.

I'm going for a Shiny Tepig, and so far, no luck. I've spent the entire day SRing the game. I've gotten about ten female's, and varying base HP's running from 20, to 24. But no shinnies. >.< I've seen video's on youtube where people say that it took them 8,000 SR's to get their shiny, and sometimes 12,500 to get it. How long has it taken to get your B/W shiny starter?

P.S. Times would be good. XD Its good to know that it took someone 12.5K SR's to get the shiny, but how much time is that? Two months, a week, 4 days, what? Times are good.
