1. Copy and paste formula. Ever since Call Of Duty 4, the series has had the same style of gameplay and the graphics are maybe 10% better. The core gameplay mechanics remain the same. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". No, but what's wrong with evolving and refining? The series is going to collapse under its own weight, mark my words.
2. The community. The people that play this game are usually in their early teens, who care about their kill/death ratio more then their grades in school, and insist on insulting another player's mother with several "*bleep*s" thrown in for good measure every 5 seconds.
3. It's not fun anymore. Call Of Duty has worn out. I guarantee you Modern Warfare 3 won't match the sales of Black Ops or Modern Warfare 2. Nobody cares about this has-been franchise anymore.

To name more than one: 1. Heavy Rain 2. Golden eye 3. Sonic.exe (Yes a poorly made fan game of a Creepypasta is better than your crap game) 4. Conker's Bad Fur Day 5. The Journey (You've probably never heard of that, it's amazing what you can find when you get off your Xbox and DO something) 6. Geist 7. and Team Fortress 2 (My personal favorite) So, yeah. 1.) the Maps are all cramped which causes game play to take less skill and be more reflex based. this also encourages "cheap" movements such as jumping around and dolphin diving. yeah, try that in combat and see how long you live. also, the variety of the maps has drastically declined. they are all urban environments except for turbine. it gets boring and repetitive
2.) spawning SUCKS. If I go into a building with my teammates and clear it, I don't want the people I just took down spawning ten feet away. its ridiculous. more often then not I find myself being spawned directly in an enemies cross hair and dying literally less than a second after I come into play again.
3.) hit boxes are incredibly large and nowhere even close to being realistic. Sniping is supposed to take precise coordination and aim but not in COD. just shoot in a player's general direction and they will die, no skill at all is required for this.
1)Reflex is a skill. 2)You can't dolphin dive in MW3, however you can dropshot which takes skill. 3) The spawns are fine you need better map knowledge. (unless being spawn trapped) 4) hit boxes are incredibly large and nowhere even close to being realistic. Sniping is supposed to take precise coordination and aim but not in COD. just shoot in a player's general direction and they will die, no skill at all is required for this. That is 100% not true.
