You know the 'Message sent! This will disappear in 3 seconds...2...1' box that appears when you send a PM? Some people might accidentally click the Send PM button and regret their decision. So should the 'Message sent!' box disappearance time be extended to 1 minute and should the mods place an 'Undo PM' icon in that same box?

I'm thinking as in you accidentally send a PM with loads of disastrous spelling mistakes to a person you know picks on them.

If you mean something along the lines of writing out a PM just downright being nasty to them and flaming them, then I think you might want to consider looking into other ways of venting frustration and anger. I personally just use that frustration as a source of energy to do some exercise or other project I've not felt like working on around the house or something.
If you mean something on a more positive note, like a suggestion to a mod for a game thread or something like that, surely it's not that hard to shoot off another PM to ask them to disregard the message like Guugley said.
Besides, should anyone actually flame you for a PM you sent that you maybe shouldn't have, keep in mind that the forum rules do apply to PMs. You can easily forward the message to one of the active supermods and explain the situation or invite them in to the PM thread to help resolve the issue.

If you're that worried about the recipient of your message flaming you for accidentally pushing a button, I'd say you have bigger problems than just with the PM system.
I don't see how anybody could accidentally send a PM. Besides, it's not that big of a problem to just continue what you were saying in a second PM and explain the mistake.
As I said, the Send or Submit buttons are obviously the most dangerous buttons on this site. Another problem to do with what you said is the nature of the receipent. They could flame you for a really awful, poorly-made PM.
