quote AdrienneYea the only problem with bow is fast MP lose but, still it can outdamage almost any class at cost of higher MP.Just thought I'd mention the following... I realize the guide is for gr26+ players: At lower gr, it is worth taking advantage of the elemental barrages, missiles, and volleys because it's not easy to make 5 bows pre-26. The barrage is 6mp thrust, and will outdamage the 4mp angel's wing on a monster weak to an element (even if they are slash weak). The volleys are better than +judgement and missiles better than burst tip. I find it a lot easier to gain ac for support using the barrages (think 6mp vs 20mp in a quest like Enemy Mines where you're going full support). I thought it might be helpful for lower gr to see. One of the things I.never liked about bow is how you burn through mp so fast, and spend just as much time recovering it. The barrages save some time there.
.quote SimsonaticJP has harder quests with harder enemies, which means they need more AGI than we do. ive found 200 to be my sweet-spot with the quests we have. enough AGI to dodge madoras like crazy and enough room to add a little STR/INT so i can hit a little harder. (of course this is with dark/conceal active)The JP players have Armors with more AGI then we have, so why should they make Armors with higher AGI if it makes no sence
quote Strenghtrevery true. as long as its the perfect storm.sleep tip can be an effective "move canceller". A dragon's charge, for ex, could be nullified by one sleep tip, regardless of whether people wake it up afterwards.
