Alright guys I'm new on neoseeker but I'm a wkc1 & wkc2 veteran, some of you may know or have heard of me i'm a gen1 gr15 on wkc1, and i'm currently gr25 on the wkc2 euro servers.

WKC2 BOW GUIDE

Ok let's start off saying a bit about bow in wkc2, bow in wkc2 is not a dps but more of a support player.

As a bow you can play a variety of roles tank, support, and dps. and YES i said TANK, darshot conceal makes you untouchable.

with moves like dark-shot, conceal, and spirits hymn your untouchable and armed with a seemingly unlimited amount of mp.

The + skills are not a must have but sure make things a lot easier when buffing your team before a battle.

CHANGES WKC1 TO WKC2

Well there's several things that have changed, the biggest being bow is no longer modded by dex, and int.
Instead now bow is full strength.

the 4 hymn's
spirits hymn 1ac for 12% of your mp back
healers hymn a % of your total hp back for 12mp
angels hymn basically a revival salve
hurricane song+ haste+ but faster casting time.

THE BOLT DOUBLERS
MUST HAVE!!!
These are a new addition to the bow class in wkc2, these allow for a double hit or a triple hit. For example say My triple knock does 900, but does 1300 with a double hit, and 2200 with a triple hit. This is a skill not a move like full-brace.

FOCUS
THIS IS A MUST FOR ALL BOW USERS!!! This allows bow to gain ac much faster than normal, allowing for more spirits hymns to be used, and faster knight transformations.

R.I.P FULLBRACE & INSPIRE
No more full brace and no more inspire, the only way to get a attack boost now is axe's rallying cry+

BULLSEYE & COMBO'S
Sorry to say but bulls-eye is much less effective then it was in wkc1, and all combo's are inefficient now making them a waste of ac.


COMBO'S

Combo's are useless now your best bet is to, spam moves like triple knock, burst tip, and if you must angels wing.

Depending on the monsters weakness.


ARMOR TO LOOK FOR IN WKC2

In wkc2 the best thing for any bow user to do is look to str and dex when looking for armor, str first as it's bows only damage modifier, dex is more or less so you don't miss constantly.

At lower gr's who are unable to get the breaker rings, look for cloth UNIDS with str, and dex.

At GR23 to GR25 after you have bought the breaker rings, look for non unid, and unid G, armors that give good defence as well as str, dex or both.

At GR26+ try to break away from dependencys on unid gr25 gear, start binding the GR26 or DLC gear with str, dex, agi, mp, as eventually they will be able to go to +20 making them a more viable source of power and stability.

Yea the only problem with bow is fast MP lose but,still it can outdamage almost any class at cost of higher MP.

Paralysis also increase DMG not sure how much but around 10% i think it increase more for spells and it stack with poison.

JP has harder quests with harder enemies, which means they need more AGI than we do. ive found 200 to be my sweet-spot with the quests we have. enough AGI to dodge madoras like crazy and enough room to add a little STR/INT so i can hit a little harder. (of course this is with dark/conceal active)

very true. as long as its the perfect storm.
a) its not enraged or a bounty
b) it actually connects
c) you can survive the hit in case he doesn't wanna fall asleep
d) you don't mind getting potentially ko'd if it doesn't work and you get hit and survive. because you may not have time to defend.

I do use dark shot a lot and only use conceal when they are about to hit me or focus on me .. Yesterday me , Gonzo , and two other did Apex and I manage to dodge him with out using conceal.. And to do Apex with only 4 you have to find the right players ..
My stat are .
Atk 545 ' Def 857' Res 239' Str 197'Agi 184' Dex 161 'hp 1104 mp 408
true king bow+9
I use spectral mail +15
Spectral vambrace+11
Wraith Chaps+20
Ashura Tabi+20
Breaker Ring and Alucards Chlams
Only my res is pretty low , hope I can upgrade my armor soon
..I am always online late at night , I am from N.J. USA .. So do you mat , lol...If anyone need some help..

The AGI points increase the dodge rate in % (don´t know the % per point) and conceal work the same way.
So maybe your dodge rate with 230AGI + darkshot and no conceal is similar to the dodge rate with 150AGI + darkshot + conceal

I haven´t made tests with AGI lower than 180 but i noticed a higher dodge rate over 200-210 and with 226AGI + darkshot + conceal you become untouchable for Knight´s and maybe Trolls and Giants. but not for Wyvern´s and other enemy´s with high accuracy/speed

The JP players have Armors with more AGI then we have, so why should they make Armors with higher AGI if it makes no sence

also would sombody edit the bow wiki i put in armr set ups so guys go wild with your armor set ups...

Even with 226 AGI + darkshot you still get hit without conceal.
guess its the same with 230 AGI

Im saying that if you where able to get high enough agility, would it be possible to be able to only rely on darkshot? I've wondered this since back in july, if it's possible I think it'll be great.

Im going to post my result here....
