I think it's safe to assume that the game will have new weapons. >__> But specifically, what kinds of weapons do you want to see? I'm not just talking about new oranges or pearls, but would you perhaps like even more weapon types? The official Borderlands 2 forum has people begging for katanas and other melee weapons which I think is the absolute stupidest thing they could do.

Whatever new weapons come along, they had better be guns!
One idea I have for a weapon would a be flamethrower-type gun, but of course it would have the ability to be other elements! Think of it as being a Rain grenade, only it comes out of your gun instead!

Let's hear some of your brilliant ideas for weapons!

Bandit weapons are confirmed and will feature the largest mags in the game.

i think they should make melee not main weapons like guns but have the ability to switch the one you use whne you do your normal melee tack that would be cool

^ Which is why I always used Transfusion grenades.

I do agree on the Rocket Launcher thing too. When I got my first RL I was like "Yeah! Badassss!" but after using I was like "Really? Meh". Fix the RLs, and balance out power by having a limited supply of rockets seems simple enough.

I actually want them to make grenades more useful. I never used any of my grenades, even when I had a sweet mod for it, I just thought that it always did shit damage every time and the enemies are always moving so it does even more shit damage

But then again wouldn't it be sooo easy if you had decent rockets?
There rockets! A low end rocket launcher if they were fixed, could be just as good as med level rifle, do you not think?
The splash damage is the only perk to using a rocket, imo, but I have perfectly good grenades for that.
That's why you're only allowed to hold a maximum of 72 rockets, and regenerating rockets is very hard to do.

Also, Shane, I've landed plenty of direct hits with rockets and they do sweet *bleep* all. I think it actually does more damage with splash damage.

And the splash damage on rockets was so crap. As far as I'm aware (which may not be all that aware, because I never used them), the damage rating for a Rocket Launcher was the damage it inflicted if it hit it's target. I dunno about you, but I use a rocket launcher for splash damage mostly. Only aim to body shot big targets.

I think something they really need to improve on is the rocket launchers. They are supposed to be destructive and powerful and yet I felt that some revolvers got the job done better.
This.
Rocket Launchers were absolutely awful. Direct hits on an enemy do nowhere close to the damage listed, and shooting the ground sometimes did nothing because the game's hit detection was *bleep*ed up for splash damage. I feel like there was a glitch with rockets because they simply didn't get the job done. Same-level enemies took two or three rockets while Badasses and other higher level enemies literally took ten or more.
Actually, another huge problem you didn't touch on (though you already mentioned enough problems that need fixing with Rockets)...Clipping.

All too often, rockets would just go straight through enemies ~_~
