quote Rune RipperActually, Boot Camp wasn't working for me so I did it manually. I had Windows 7 on a flash drive. I had to run several repairs with Disk Utility to get it to even partition my drive 'cuz apparently things were messed up xD But then you just have to stick the thing into your USB port and hold down "option" to access the "Startup Manager" or something. From there, select to boot from the flash drive, it should run whatever's on there and you choose your partition that you created for Windows (make sure it's formatted correctly). The only problem after that was that, since I didn't have Boot Camp helping me, it didn't install the drivers necessary for the Windows computer to use mac hardware, so I couldn't get internet or anything, even when plugged directly in. I ended up needing to download all the drivers and such from my mac partition, put them onto a flash drive, and pulling them out once again for my Windows partition. And to access the PC partition, you do it the same way as before - hold down the Option key on startup to get to the startup manager.jaydenfox you dual-booted to get Windows on your Mac, right? What did you use to help you do it? I've been wanting to do it for a while, but been put off by the confusing guides I've found.
quote harbinI actually lost my RPG files recently as well, but it seems to be going much better now... I learned a lot since then, so hopefully the game will be better. If there is one thing life has drummed into me is to always keep backups.
