Actually, you're wrong on the same account. In the Colosseum, you can combine moves like Firaga with other moves to create more powerful attacks that can only be used in the Colosseum. I believe those are the special attacks to which kookie531 was referring to, am I not correct? kookie531, please correct me if I'm wrong.

wholesaleshadow, here's what I do: SAVE YOUR LICENSES!!! Seriously, I didn't use a SINGLE license throughout the whole game, and then I used half of the for the Cerberus Battle. Why only half? Simple:
Spoiler:DON'T READ THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS!!!
After beating Cerberus, nothing will happen. Your characters will be very confused, until Hades pops up and tells them that there are many more guardians (He doesn't say their names, but they are the Rock Titan, which is SUPER RESISTANT, the Behemoth, which is actually a Heartless, and it has very high attack, sweeping you in a couple of turns. And then, finally, you fight the Ice Titan, which is all-around impossible.) Anyways, after Hades tells you there are more bosses, you fight HIM. That's where the other half of your licenses come in handy, because he can actually Summon Shadows to block you from attacking him.
If you have an odd number of licenses, just use the smaller half for Cerberus. Use the larger half for.......something else that was mentioned in the spoiler.

Do hit A but still use the special attacks. Also the first and second time I played the game I didn't go back for Cloud. I learned a lesson. ALWAYS GO BACK FOR CLOUD! You want him to fight with you. The third time I played re coded it was so much easier with Cloud. He's a good fighter. The three headed dog is named Cerebrus.
