So, what i'm trying to do is make an adventure that one of my friends can play, and what i'm trying to get to happen next is that the player finds a destroyed city and finds that the creepers that destroyed it came from a large hole.
They must travel down there and fight the mob, or if possible, more specifically, creepers.
I'm trying to insure that the mob does spawn down there, anyone know how i'd go about doing this?

Mo' Creatures is entertaining, Risgumai made modloader, a mod that basically 99% of mods use to operate correctly without conflict, you wouldn't have your silly Mo' Creatures without him.

Risugami, creator of basically every useful mod in Minecraft ever.
*COUGHCOUGHDR.ZHARKCOUGHCOUGH* Anyway, he isn't the only one that created useful mods... And I'm sure that better mods than his will be released eventually.
Risugami, creator of basically every useful mod in Minecraft ever, actually has a mob spawner GUI that you can download that allows you to right click on mob spawners and allow them to spawn anything in the game, including Nether mobs and passive animals.
It has nothing to do with damage values, if it was, then you could spawn them normally with monsters, you have to use a specific editing tool, NBTEdit I'm pretty sure can do it, but again, Risugami has an awesome in-game GUI.

Your best bet is to use TooManyItems and SpawnerGUI mods.
You have to edit the damage value of the mob spawner, I believe. I'm not sure exactly what you need to set it to, but each number is for a different mob, i.e. 4 for Creeper or 8 for Sheep.
