Actually, My butterfree has psybeam, but I just am waiting for bug buzz and psycic.Then it is a beast.
Even with psybeam, you can OHKO Morty's gastlies.It's better then it appers

2.int can cause stautus problems.

Back in Gen1 I used to take Charmander/Pika and pick up a Caterpie in VF. Level that up to a Butterfree and use that to 1 shot brock and misty with Confusion. Butterfree goes through all 3 evolve forms by level 10 and is a bug with psychic type moves, whats not to love? Though I couldnt see using a Butterfree for an E4 team build, there are just soo many stronger psychic/bug out there.
