Special and Adventures are the same series, so yes. Special BW would be the Black and White saga of Adventures when Chuang Yi's localisation team reaches it.

How many chapter of pokemon manga are there? In pokemon adventure there are 351 chapters. This is the chapter I found http://manga.animea.net/pokemon-adventures-chapter-1-page-4.html.

GSC was really fun the first time around after it started picking up, but later times it did get kinda dull. RS is pretty interesting, but it takes some time to really get interesting. If you really can't get through GSC, then yeah, just go ahead.

Extremely good. Red actually catches and evolves thing unlike Ash. Team Rocket is much more evil and some gym leaders even work with them.

Speaking of which, I dropped Pokemon Special during the GSC arc because it's boring shit (though I've heard most people praising this arc for some reason). Should I just skip to RSE or force myself to continue to see what's the hype about?

I bump this so I can ask my question.

How come jessy and james meowth never battles in pokemon battle? How come the only move that meowth know is scratch and furry swipe, why can't he learn new moves like pay day, crunch, iron tail, thunder bolt etc?
