Your walking through a forest as nightfall approaches.

You hear nothing, but the whistling of the wind. Then there comes a knockin' like that of a wood-pecker from a tree. You here the rustle of leaves nearby.

But, it's too late.

Your able to stare up into the darkness. You think you see a tree but the shadow isn't right. Your seeing a strangely slender man. You cannot see his face, but only what he wears. His dark, jacket and dress shirt seem to blend in amongst the trees. All of a sudden your caught cold. You can't move a muscle. You hear nothing, but the sound from this stranger. This sound is calming and it's calling you. You don't want to go, but at the same time you really do. Without rhyme or reason you walk towards him.

He takes you by the shoulder and you both walk off into the darkness of the forest. Off into somewhere far away from the forest, from your home, from your city, from your country, from your world!

Slender Man

The Slender Man is often described as wearing a black formal suit. He has abnormally long arms and a long torso which makes him look very similar to the height of a tree. Slender chooses to play with his victims by causing them fear but also comfort. When he stretches his arms out, almost to grab you, the one he is after goes into a hypnotic state. This state causes them to have no reason but to walk towards him.

It is unknown whether he chooses to kill, torture, or just add his victims name to the missing persons list, because none who have fallen for his tricks have ever been found. Missing they are and they will remain.

Look closely.

Do you see him?

He sees you.

Close to the middle,
but a bit to the left,
looks like an M,
but closer means death.

My knowledge of Slender Man first came about from Argetgarm and her post found here.

He reminds me of Freddy Kruger with his intentions of taking children. Which Slender Man is also said to have haunted the dreams of the children he takes. These children try and warn their parents before disappearing, but parents believe it to be just a vivid imagination.

Ain't it all just your mind playin' tricks on yah?

Oh, I've read everything about Silent Hill.
I was obsessed with for a week!
Until I played the RE6 demo.

Sounds scary though, I wouldn't want to be a Pyramid Head

Yeah, whether it be Pyramid Head or Slender man, you get lot's of powers but then you are forever doomed and your soul never reaches redemption :/

Oh, I've read everything about Silent Hill.
I was obsessed with for a week!
Until I played the RE6 demo.

You know what makes me laugh, watching the reactions on YouTube, but not actually playing it myself.

First time I heard about Slender happened to be Good Game. But I've never really thought too much about it. I was going to write a story, but later just forgot about it.
Reactions are pretty funny yeah, writing a story about him would be cool, something like Blair Witch project story. He ought to be in the forests. But still, what happens to the victims once he gets close to them...They faint? Then what? Does he eat 'em?

I like Slenderman games and the character too. There were rumors of Slenderman in a village near my town. They actually give some food to a tall man every new Moon night and he disappears. I need to visit that place to confirm it...

Found this thread today, on my lunch hour at work. I work at the local hospital, and I had been up on clinic reception all afternoon, and when I had finished I came down in the lift, heading back to the office, as I went past the window in the corridor I looked outside, across a small courtyard and something in the window opposite caught my eye, stood there was a tall figure, dressed in a black jacket or coat, with no face. At this point I was kinda freaked out, what with the whole 'slender man' topic still fresh in my mind. But after thinking about it, I just put it down to it being a dummy, one of those fake skeleton things used in hospitals, and someone had put their jacket on it? after getting home and re-reading this whole thread, I'm still kinda freaked out. thought I'd share it with you all, so yeah.

EDIT: I should say, I realise that 'Slender man' is fake, but what happened still scared the crap out of me, doubt I'll be sleeping too well tonight.

Hahaha. I got over it pretty quickly, but I woke up in the middle of the night, and hanging from my wall at the end of the bed, I had an old suit. So in my sleepy state, I saw the suit hanging there, a few feet off the ground and, well yeah, thought it was Slendy coming to kill me.

haha, well you are having quite the running in with Slender Man! if he was real id say that he was after you!
