This limited hardcover edition will include everything in the first book plus the bonus of the Unova Region Pokédex. The regional Pokédex will include all 150+ new Pokémon. It will be available in the second book as well, but the Collectors Edition is the only place to find this information at game launch.
This limited edition guide will be individually numbered.
The front of the book will have removable lenticular art created specifically for this guide
Both guides will be released on March 6, 2011 (at least in the United States) for $19.99 USD and $29.99 USD, respectively.

I think strategy guides are pretty useless, honestly, with all the Internet we have, lol. But I must admit it is pretty handy to have a guide RIGHT THERE and not have to jump on a computer to find out what you need. I've been playing Pokemon a while, though, and have only bought one guide, the Diamond/Pearl one with the Pokedex info and thru-game and post-game info and hints and all that good crapola that is a waste of $20. I will most likely not be buying this guide, unless it is cheap. If I DO buy the guide though, it will be the regular version, since the collectors one is a big pile of money-eating poop.

So, basically the Special Edition covers book 1 and 2? So that way you don't have to buy both of them?
