Was kind of hoping for something with more umph to it just because everything seems like just a slight MHz bump. Microcenter should be doing their white label sale of the 1090T for around $199 when they get more in stock.

Even just more headroom for overclocks or something, seems like they all max around the same peak.

AMD's hex-core Phenom II X6 gets a new, faster entry in the form of the 1100T. It's 100MHz faster than the Phenom II X6 1090T, and about $35 more expensive, but it does have an unlocked CPU multiplier while remaining in the same power consuming envelope. Check out our latest AMD CPU review to see if it's really that big of a deal compared to the (now cheaper) 1090T:
