Just saw this on Serenes Forest. I don't recall seeing this pic in game, was there a way to make it so that Micaiah has the Blood Pact mark rather than Pelleas? Or was this just an extra pic that wasn't in the game?

Hold on a sec... I've noticed something, Micaiah's branded mark and blood pact are both on the same arm. This could only mean one thing: Micaiah is working on a tattoo sleeve. o-o
or the one where it shows Dorcas, Lyn, Matthew and Serra (I think it was those four) in a battle.
I'm not sure if that is Dorcas or a generic bandit, but, that one in the red is actually Erk setting an enemy behind him aflame and I'm pretty sure its in reference to the chapter where you get the two of them.
FE7 is a good example. You never see the image of Lyn lunging at Lundgren anytime in the game, except the prologue credits, which don't really count.
You may not remember it, but it is. Many pictures in that game are unlocked under certain circumstances. Like when Hector and Lyn hug on the boat. That only shows up if you're on your second playthrough of hectors story.
There weren't exactly a lot of conditions you could fulfill for certain things in Lyn's quest, IIRC. Side Quest is really the only thing I can think of. I've played through Lyn's story numerous times, doing everything possible, and I've still not seen that picture. That, or the one where it shows Dorcas, Lyn, Matthew and Serra (I think it was those four) in a battle.

The Blazing Shadow
Well, we do know that one of my two theories has to be correct. I realistically, though, think you may have a point in assuming it is the latter. After all, if Pelleas does survive,
Spoiler: it states that,
Ashnard had once considered killing the traveler who had originally made the pact,
which would, hence, render my point of who would be considered a third party null, anyways.

Bah, regardless. The circumstances still stand.

The Blazing Shadow
quote Almheda
In order to break the curse of the blood pact, two conditions must be met. The destruction of the document itself, and the death of the one bound to it. Either condition by itself is not enough. I watched it happen. Ashnard killed his father, then tore apart the pact. And before my eyes, the mark of the pact faded from the dead king's arm
I think she was referring to his father, actually.
But then again, the mark of the blood pact didn't transfer from Pelleas' to Michaiah right away after he died, either. Almheda had time to see it, after all.

Ashnard had inherited the mark after killing his father too. Kurths sister admitted to having seen the mark fade as he tore up the contract.
Third party refers to anyone not the pact holder or one who signed the signature. Ashnard was directly related to the previous king who had the mark when he killed him. The second fulfilling requirement to remove the pacts effect is that the document must be ripped apart.
So if Tauro or anyone else had ripped apart the document at the time Pelleas was killed, then the blood pact would have ended.
I was actually thinking about the thing with Ashnard while I was typing that. IIRC, it said something about Ashnard having sworn loyalty to the wandering traveler. Either way, however, Michaiah probably inherited the mark of the blood pact for being the one most likely to next rule Daein.

Fire Emblem games throw in extra images every now and then. FE7 is a good example. You never see the image of Lyn lunging at Lundgren anytime in the game, except the prologue credits, which don't really count.
