So.... what do you do now?

I've figured out that the .duc that the Action Replay DSi uses is different than the .duc save file used by the Action Replay MAX DUO. Because of this, save files from the AR DSi can not be used with software that uses .duc because it is a completely different file. Why Datel called it a .duc is beyond me, but it's extremely frustrating because searching for any software that handles .duc files gives you software for the MAX DUO save files and not the DSi save files.
Now to use programs like animal map, someone one will have to make software that converts a DSi .duc file to a MAX DUO .duc file. Confusing, right? Also, this will prevent people from downloading saves from the internet and using them with their AR DSi. Not only will the AR not recognize a MAX DUO .duc, but software that converts to or from .duc will be useless with DSi .duc files.
I blame Datel for this problem. They should have either used the same file as the MAX DUO uses or they should have called the DSi save files something else.
Looks like this is another useful product from Datel.
