Subzer0 has given us permission for game threads.

----
Welcome to the CCC thread, or Crisis Core Challenges. We hope you'll join us with these, as we're hoping they will bring life back into this once awesome forum.

Here are the different challenges, and the rules.

Playthough - For those who just want to play through the game, on normal or hard, and want to share it with us. There are no rules. Just have fun!

Zero Mission Challenge - Where you complete no missions in the game whatsoever (apart from Mission 1-1-1, as you have to). The only way to obtain items or level up, is during the main storyline, and shops.

Low Level Challenge - You must equip the Cursed Ring (obtained from opening the locker thing that gives you a Bronze Bangle around 18 times). The lowest possible level for this challenge is Level 6. If you level up during the Shinra Training or mission 1-1-1, that's ok. You are not allowed to remove this Cursed Ring unless you obtain the Heike Soul from completing every mission.

Wall hugging is up to you, but please state if you are going to or not, or if you're Epoch and will wall hug later in the game. I'll put you lot in different places on the list depending on what you're doing.

Edit: If you say you're not gonna wall hug, but use the method to get a treasure chest that is behind the mission battles, this is fine.

Edit: For those who don't know what wall hugging is:
Wall hugging is running Zack against the wall. As monsters in this game are encounted due to proximity, wall hugging skips a lot of these fights.

Please tell us where you are, your levels, equipment and so on. Any proof you can give will be awesome.

Hope this picks up again too

My copy of CC had to be sold to pay bills, along with the PSP so I can't finish sorry.

My PSP makes Crisis Core buffer but hit me up with a challenge. Since I haven't played the game completely in like over a year and literally abandoned the no-mission challenge, please include me in the complete-game section .

Wasn't really all that hard. Just need to learn to dodge at the right moments. That and having 99 hi-potions really helps.

Does it count that I beat CC my first try without doing a single mission besides the mandatory one for the challenge run?

Oh yes! Actually yeah, it does count . Wow, was it hard? I tried it but I'm too used in using overpowered characters with the best equipment/materia in the game. :0

I left out the last gameplay but now that I'm on vacation I might as well start to play again. i think the no mission challenge is pretty hard considering that I won't get all them goodies . Maybe I should head for the cursed ring one.

*ahem*
So recently I got my copy of Crisis Core and popped it in my PSP. The max stat Zack along with all items and missions got me all nostalgic. I remembered when I bought this game back in 2008, somewhere around March or April. Good times.

Anyways, will be picking up my no mission challenge once again. Let's see how things go. I invite all the CC crew to join as well and remember old times.
