Can anyone tell me a good level to face Baramos for the first time since I just got the map and he's been killing all my people with criticals near the end of battle. Also all my people are lv 55.

Dragon Quest 9 Palad

Combo:Paladin sheild scroll (My team was lv. 49)
Paladin use forbearence
Healer/buffer buff/kabuff paladin
Secondary healer/damage dealer heal paladin
Damage dealer use falcon slash with falcon balde
Paladin use magic mirror
same for other team members
Paladin uses fire fource on himself or attacks (fire fource for decreasing fire breath damage) OR (I reccomend this) Max out fan and use reverse cycle)
Rinse repeat when things wear off

I don't know how to edit with guest name so:

I forgot to mention that Glad has the Falcon Blade. The turns should be like (Supposing no one dies):

Turn 1
Sage: Uses Egg On on Glad
Preist: Frost Fource on Glad
Glad: Phsyce Up on self
Pal.: Reverse Cycle on self
Turn 2
Sage: Eggs On Glad
Preist: Heals, if neccecary
Glad: Psyce Up on self
Pal.: Magic Mirror on self
Turn 3
Sage: Eggs On Glad
Preist: Heals, if neccecary
Glad: Double Up on self
Pal.: Forberence
Turn 4a ( If not 100 Tension)
Sage: Eggs On Glad
Preist: Heals...
Glad: Psyce Up
Pal.: Forberence
Repeat, if neccecary
Turn 4b
Sage: Strongest Spell
Preist: Guess...
Glad: Blind Man's Biff (Falcon Slash if not avalible) About 8k dmg if done correctly.
Pal.: Forberence
This is my Universal Boss Strategy. i tweak it slightly to adapt to the bosses unique fighting styles.

Baramos is EASY. I was able to beat him right after I beat Corvus first time(LVLs 30~35), REPETEDLY. I grew like 5 lvls and beating him at lvl 10.

I use a Sage, Preist, Gladiator and Paladin.

my sage eggs on glad. and revives when neccecary.

preist uses FROST FOURCE on glad.

glad Doubles up. psyces up then BLIND MAN'S BIFF Baramos. does like 8k damage.

Paldin uses Reverse Cycle (100 Fan makes it possible.) and Magic mirror, then Forberence. All his abilites are reversed.

Kitty: Priest: Lv 44
