Do you think Nintendo will be including a voice chat feature to be used during online sessions this time around? Instead of typing everything like you had to in Wild World?

I think it would be a very good idea to include it. Makes chatting less of a chore, and you won't have to stop what you're doing just to say something.

The system has a built in mic there is no excuse.

I'm sure alahna777 will appreciate this feature the most to be quite honest.

I think it's a feature that I think I'd love to use, but when they do provide, I'll not really use it, just because it's super awkward for me when I know people are hearing my voice. I dunno why but it makes me feel weird o-o I'll probably use it when Erin and Heley use it. x3

Like Justin said, the keyboard feature is REALLY good on City Folk, because you can actually use an actual keyboard.

But on the handhelds you have to deal with the keyboard in-game, and it can be a hassle sometimes. I mean I could eventually type really fast on it, but having to stop what you're doing to type something got annoying sometimes. The character limit was really annoying, having to send like three text bubbles for a semi-long message and if the person looks away or something, they ask you to send it again, etc *sigh*. I would love voice chat, even with random people sometimes even. But I'd probably have to open up to the person a little bit before I start to use the voice chat with them, unless they're already friends.

With the Wii I was easily able to connect a keyboard and be done with it. While on a portable device, though, I feel the only easy form of communication would be via the mic. I doubt they'll strip the game of that, and I'm sure I'll be using it as opposed to the notoriously long form of typing everything. -__-

It's a feature I would only use with my friends but it would be nice to have it.
Agreed with Virtue: The biggest problem with the chat system was the character limit.

A voice chat feature would be ideal for this game. The keyboard feature is alright, but the character limit was very frustrating at times. I would be shocked to not see this as an optional feature. Considering friend codes are returning (just assuming, correct me if I'm wrong), I don't think it'd be an issue.

I think Voice Chat sounds like a great idea. Because when you're visiting someones town or they're visiting yours it seems to be a bit of a hassle stopping what you're doing and typing it in. Especially since I lose my stylus a lot. And I think it would just be fun in general. :3 But it if it was added, it would most likely be optional.

I would like this feature, it would come in handy. But maybe some options would be nice. Like you could choose to visit people with the voice chat or people who don't. I've always loved the keyboard feature, it would be awesome if that was added as well.
And plus, it would be fun to use! And also this way it would be easier to tell if you're talking to a younger or older player so that you can choose your vocabulary more wisely.

It would be more convenient than Wii Speak on CF, seeing as you have to drop an extra 20 bucks to get it. But the 3DS has a built in microphone, so that would work. Since when did Pokémon Diamond have mic chat?

I would LOVE it!!! if i could persuade my friend who has a 3ds to get it it will come in handy (well probably).
I have a lot of things bookmarked on my iPad about AC so if u want to add me on 3ds chat PM me.
