I'm one dark piece away from being able to make a Black weapon but I don't really know which to go for. I have been using longsword, sns, greatsword and hammers the most. I kind of suck on the ranged stuff. (I tried a bow on Plesioth and timed out. Went back with a longsword to get even.) Right now I'm playing through the 5 star Elder and 4 star Guild quests. And I finally made HR2! Which of the Black weapons do you think gives the best mileage, especially for this point in the game? All informed opinions welcome.

yo I used the long sword to beat the guild gaoren and laoshan sharpness sucks but it works good enough

Good idea. I recently made Devil Slicer and it's pretty cool. For True Devil Slicer I just need some carbalite ore, thunder sacs and a Khezu steak (grilled medium rare con cebolla, cilantro y ajo with a local chardonnay.) Should have had more than a sandwich for lunch...

If your into Longswords your time will be better invested in the True Devil Slicer weapon line.

Yeah, I haven't even seen a Fatalis yet. I think I'll make a longsword. You can never have too many.

The black weapons are only useful for low rank/early high rank. Unless your good at Fatalis cuz U need fatalis mats for upgrades.

Well the Greatswords don't deal much elemental damage so I don't recommend you getting the Greatsword. The SnS deals elemental damage the most effectively because of its rapid attacks but I personally think you would want a slight combination of both raw and elemental, therefore I advise you to make the Longsword or the Hammer.
