So I traded a Lucario over wi-fi asking for a Grumpig, and it's hacked.

It's caught at Lv. 100 in a masterball. Grumpig can't be found in the wild in HG/SS. Nuff said.

So I am wondering what I can do if I have a hacked pokemon. I've heard it's illegal to send hacked pokemon over wi-fi.

i got a shiny fortress for my giratina over gts, caught at mt silver or cave i forget, and in cherish ball

Ive received multiple hacked pokemon and you can find spoink in HG/SS during wendsday after u get the nationnal pokedex and the national radio go to viridian or ilex forest and turn that music on

Yeah i think breeding hacked pokemon's ok cos at the end of the day the egg obtained itself was generated by the game - so it's still legit imo. Anyways doing all that shouldn't be necessary if you invest your time into learning to RNG breed rather than learning to hack imo

As for the initial post, either keep it or release it idc, just don't trade it unless you've already stated it's a hack. IMO you paid for it fairly and you were unlucky enough to get a hack, but the choice of what you do with it now is up to you
