And an Eevee. So should I make it an espeon or an umbreon?

umbreon is definitely better and more useful mine has assurance confuse ray double team moonlight its very rare when someone actually takes him down

Umbreon is tougher and looks cooler but it doesnt learn very good moves and has a pretty weak attack. Espeon can't take much, but can deal a lot of damage and learn a fair few good moves. I call them equal.

I don't have either just yet but the answer is obvious...Umbreon, why? because Umbreon is dark type, Espeon is psychic, dark type pokemon/moves are super effective against psychic types. any questions? Class is over!

alll u lozerz its umbreon!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 phycic type moves dosent affect umbreon. dark types overpower phycic!

Personally, I got both. Espeon has great sp. attack but Umbreon has great defense and more HP.I got my Espeon first and bred it and evolved into Umbreon after it hatched. Either way you can't go wrong.

Shadow Ball can also be nice move to add, as it knocks down the defending Pokemon's Special Defense.

Umbreon has good defense espeon has good Special i agree, so i didnt have to choose because i like both i breeded my Eevve with a ditto and got both, they do good in a double battle together.
but if u really have to choose I would Espeon and give it the moves Shadowclaw, Psychic, Morning Sun, and Return

True, but I think Umbreon's HP last longer than Espeon's. I think Espeon relies on Special Attack.
