better idea - tell me your specs, and i can give you some better input. i need your motherboard make and model, cpu make and model, ram type (what DDR), and speed (this will help), your video card details, and your power supply info (you will need to open your computer and look at the PSU sticker. look for the maximum wattage supported, and any amperage ratings on the 12 volt rail(s))

Hello, everyone! I'm new to these forums, so I apologize if this thread is redundant.
I understand that a computer works like a train, if one leg is weaker, the entire train suffers. Recently, by running a computer test, it seems my processor is hindering my ability to play certain games, so I need to get a new one! =D
Problem is, I'm not sure my motherboard can handle it. I did do a Run ---> Diagdx test to show the information of everything in my system. Though I don't know exactly what to look for, and once I do found which motherboard it is, do I just google the product?
Also, some recommendations on a semi-cheap but good processor would be very helpful!
