Does this work? Or is a shiny egg rare and only happen when it wants?

Just saying, the original chances of getting a shiny egg is 1/8192. But, some people hatch more than, say 10,000 eggs, and they still don't get a shiny.

So when im breeding japaneese Gardevoir form Hoenn (catched in 2007 in R/S/E) with Johto Ditto my chanses for shiny ralts are 1/200?
If the Pokemon are from two different language games the chance is around 1/1639.

Hi, breeding shiny + shiny doesn't increase your chance of the egg hatching into a shiny unfortunately. The chance remains 1/8012. The only way (currently known) to increase this chance is if the egg comes from breeding with a pokemon in a foreign language. For example if you're using an american cartridge, breed with a japanese ditto or something. Even with this added probability, it only multiplies your chances by 4, taking the probability from 1/8012 to 1/2003.

If there's any other way of improving these odds sorry but I don't know of them. Hope this helps.

This will not increase the chances of getting a shiny from the egg.

there is no other method to getting shines (other than Masuda and RNG, which I doubt anyone really wants to get into right now)

Okay, then what about finding shinies? This game doesn't have a poke radar so it's kinda hard to transition finding shinies into this game.

That does not work. The only way to increase shiny egg hatches is the Masuda(spelled like that) Method. You breed two pokemon from different countries, and the rates drop from 1/8012 to 1/2000.

I do not know the exact rates, they are around that region.
