Please help me out, I am trying to make a team but, I can't decide on a good water or mixed water type to battle with. Oh, and anybody who says Gyrados obviously doesn't know about the 4x weakness to electric type attacks.

My top 5

1. Blastoise

2. Kingdra

3. Feraligatr

4. Lapras

5. Gyrados

I like Gyrados and Kingdra because Clair uses them.

I have used both Blastoise and Feraligatr in playthroughs, both excellent water type.

Lapras is a good water type too.

  1. Lanturn
  2. Feraligtr
My opinion but if u type lanturn vs feraligtr comparison u can compare pokemons stats and it might say pikimal at the end

Lanturn it can learn ice beam and has volt absorb to deal with lances pesky dragonite with thunder but feraligtr is quite good if u want to reserve a space for a water type but it is a attacker not a sp attacker so keep ice fang
My job is done

I would agree with gyarados especially since you can catch a free red one at Lake Rage. It can learn lots of moves and as someone else said with one dragon dance just use any other strong move and your in shape for battle.
~ Hope I helped,

Definitely Gyarados!! Intimidate crushs physical users and at the Goldenrod department store you can buy thunder blizzard fire blast etc. And Gyarados can learn all of them. Mine is set up with thunder fire blast blizzard and surf. Nothing stops him.
