nurse joy just informed me that my poke has the virus. the only question now is how do i tell which one of them has the virus? just to be safe, i've put the whole party that i healed when i was informed of pokerus in the pc box. and none of the pokes have the purple pkrs sign on them.

You don't want to get rid of it. It help you train your pokemon. I would spread it to the rest of your party and put one of them in the PC box for when you want to train. Any pokemon in the PC box will not lose Pokerus, and that way you can keep it forever.

Pokerus doubles the evs you get right? So say I get normally get 5 I would get 10?

go to their summary and there will be a giant PKRS next to the level it's not bad so just live with it for now
try spreading it by using the pokemon that needs to catch it in a battle

its a virus that makes EV training your pokemon easier your pokemon can catch from beating a pokemon in the wild who has it (1/8000~ chance) and then from there it spreads to the rest of your party, OR getting it from someone via trade

nope. it means your skarmory had it before, but can't spread it anymore
