I really want a DS pretty much just to get this game. When I was 7/8 I literally went to school in my holidays to meet about 10 people who all played pokemon red/blue/yellow and gold/silver it was the best time of my life. Would anybody say that this game is a perfect upgrade to gold? It looks killer

Haha who's loving catching Heracrosses for fun? Heartgold is a cool game, buy it if you don't know where else you should spend your money on.

If you like the new pokes then buy it. If not this game is fairly terrible in comparison to the original. I had a not so spectacular experience while playing Gold, so believe me its much better than the remake.

Yeah, Fire red never really appealled too much for me, seeing as I didn't really love red the way I loved gold, I only got to Pewter city until much later. What was ruined for fire red?
