Welcome to my guide!

Voltorb Flip (AKA Game Corner Game) is an addicting logic puzzle.
This game can't be won with logic and skill alone, as there is some luck to it.
(The person playing in the picture made a mistake, don't do what he did )

(Picture provided by Youtube User: PLDHnet)
Let's start off with the basics.
Notice the number above the voltorb. This number is the total number of points in that row/column.

The number beside the voltorb is the number of voltorb's in that row/column. When you select a voltorb, you lose. There will never be more than 3 bombs at a time, on levels 1-3, the added two numbers will always at least be 5.

The first thing you do is look at the number of voltorbs in each row. If there is no voltorbs in a row/column, select all of the cards in that row/column.

Second, you look at the other rows. If the total amount of points and voltorbs added together equal 5, select open memo. Once opened, mark each card in the row with a voltorb and 1. Every card in this row will have either a voltorb or a 1, and there is no point in selecting ANY of these cards, as you win for selecting every x2 and x3.

After you mark every card in a row that adds up to 5, you look for the one's that equal 6. What you do with the cards in THIS row, is mark every card with a voltorb, 1, AND 2. If this row/column crosses a row/column that has only voltorb and 1 marked, skip that card. This makes eliminating cards much easier.

After that, you do the same thing with rows that add up to 7, but instead of voltorb, 1, and 2, you select voltorb, 1, 2, AND 3. If this crosses a row/column with just voltorb, 1, and 2 marked, skip that card.

Next, do the same thing with rows that add up to 8, 9, etc. until every card is marked properly.

After you marked the cards, you look at the cards you have already selected at the start, (if you had a row with no voltorbs,) and see if any conditions (see blue) were met.

After that, you look at the cards you have marked. The best first move would probably be the card between the two rows/columns with the highest total points and least voltorbs. (IE, a card in both a row with a total points of 7 and 1 voltorb, and a row with a total points of 6 and 1 voltorb.)

After that first move, check the conditions below and see if any match. (Say, in this example, the card chosen ended up as an x3. That means, the rest of the cards in the 6 and 1 row will be marked as voltorbs and 1s.)

For your second move, use common sense to determine what to pick. The best moves are always the moves with the least chance of being a voltorb, or rows you haven't chosen yet with low voltorb counts.

This list only goes up to 9, so far, but i plan on updating it once in a while.

(EXAMPLE) Rows/Columns that add up to 6 will have a x2 in it, with the rest being 1's and voltorbs. If you find the x2 in that row, remark EVERY card in that row with a voltorb and 1, as there are no more coins/points to be found in that row.
(EXAMPLE) 2-4 would be the total amount of points being 2, while there would be four voltorbs. It adds up to 6.

(KEY)
/ (is) Different combination
x-y (is) x=Total points, y=Number of voltorbs
LIST:
Add up to 5
1-4; One 1, four voltorbs
2-3; Two 1's, three voltorbs
3-2; Three 1's, two voltorbs
4-1; Four 1's, one voltorb
5-0; All 1's

Add up to 6
2-4; One x2, four voltorbs
3-3; One x2, one 1, and three voltorbs
4-2; One x2, two 1's, and two voltorbs
5-1; One x2, three 1's, and one voltorb

Add up to 7
3-4; One x3, four voltorbs
4-3; One x3, one 1, three voltorbs/ Two x2's, three voltorbs
5-2; One x3, two 1's, two voltorbs/ Two x2's, one 1, two voltorbs
6-1; One x3, three 1's, one voltorb/ Two x2's, two 1's, two voltorbs

Add up to 8
5-3; One x3, one x2, three voltorbs
6-2; One x3, one x2, one 1, two voltorbs/ Three x2's, two voltorbs/
7-1; One x3, one x2, two 1's, one voltorb/ Three x2's, one 1, one voltorb

Add up to 9
6-3; Two x3's, three voltorbs
7-2; Two x3's, one 1, two voltorbs/ One x3, two x2's, two voltorbs
8-1; One x3, two x2's, one 1, one voltorb/ Two x3's, two 1's, one voltorb/ One x3, one x2, two 1's, one voltorb

If these conditions are met for one of these rows, don't forget to remark every other card in that row with a voltorb and 1.

Eventually, you will start to memorize these methods, as they aren't too complicated. If you find any mistakes, please post them.
Thank you for taking the time to read my guide, please post your thanks or just post to correct me if you think I made a mistake.

(NOTE: Even with all the logic and skill in the world, once in a while you will get in a situation in which you WILL have to guess...)

If anyone needs a TM (why else use the game corner?) I can trade it to them. I have like 3 of every TM from the Game Corner.
Forget TMs, go for the Porygon! (yes, I actually took the time to get one)
