How To Play
Seven days before the race day [Sunday], predictions will open. All you need to do is predict the drivers who you think will finish in the first ten positions, plus the driver who starts on pole [i.e. qualifies fastest]. Use the green-coloured code below.
Correct predictions earn the number of points stated above.
In addition, you will also receive two points for every driver who you predict in your top 10 who finish in the final top 10. For example, if you predicted 1: Kubica 2: Hamilton 3: Massa, and the final rankings were 1: Kubica 2: Massa 3: Hamilton, you would receive 29 points - 25 for the first place prediction, and two each for the other two drivers finishing in the top eight.
No predictions may be made more than 1 week prior to the race. If you know you aren't going to be able to post your predictions during the week leading up to a Grand Prix, please PM me with your predictions. I will make them public before the race.
If you miss a race there will be no extra penalty, but of course you won't have been able to make any predictions.
Questions may be posted here or directed to me via PM.
In addition, there is a Championship Round. This is similar to any one race, but instead is for the final results of the World Drivers' Championship, with the exception of pole position. Predict for this before the first race.
Everyone will have one JOKER card. A JOKER doubles all the points scored in any one particular race. If you wish to use your JOKER, you must inform me in your prediction post. JOKERs cannot be played on the Championship Round.
It is possible to enter part way through the season with no penalty. However, you cannot make a prediction for the Championship Round.
It is not permitted to edit predictions after qualifying. If you make a change to your prediction on qualifying day before qualifying starts, then you must PM me with the change you have made, or your old prediction will be used. You can predict after qualifying, but of course then you can't make a prediction for pole position.
