Lugia without question is the better of the two. I know this has been covered but I just want to rub it in a little more. Lugia is dual type Psychic/Flying not water type and just because it's home is the ocean doesn't make it one.

Lugia would sort of own ho-oh, he has more powerful move that are superefective against ho-oh, even though i do like ho-oh a tad more.

Lugia Because it had type advantage, and i just know some of you are going to say it isent everything. It knows dragon rush at level 15!(Use a heart scale to remember a move and you shall see that it is one of the moves it can learn)

Ho-oh > Lugia. I've always liked Ho-oh more.

Ho-oh is faster than lugia but they have pretty much the same move pool apart from a couple differences mainly water and fire moves. But ho-oh can learn punishment and shadow ball from a TM and ho-oh has a better sp. atk stat than lugia. End of the day ho-oh would beat lugia with a couple good hits with the right nature.

well yea Lugia would beat Ho Oh but remember Ho ho could even beat Lugia if its leaves are way to high, so if Ho oh was level 99 and Lugia was Leavle 40 there could even be a chance that Ho Oh could even beat Lugia even though Lughia is a flying water type and Ho Oh is a flying fire type you see, remember how watter beats fire well then Lugia could have a chance on beating Ho Oh if its leaves are high enough depends really you see??
