I saw a thread like this in the General PSX forum. I also searched in the forum directory, and got nothing, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Just bought a Wiiu a few weeks ago and finally got a Wiimote to check out the original Wii menu. When I went to it, much to my surprise, there are a Ton of classics downloaded.
So yeah. Right now I'm alternating between Metal Slug X an Kirby's Dreamland. Two games I can't say I've played more than a few minutes before now

Since I now personally consider anything in the PS1 era a classic, I'm going to say Vagrant Story. Never played it and I'm going to be downloading it on my PS3. Better late than never.

The Magic of Scheherazade, the greatest RPG on the NES.
Oh- I remember that! It had both overhead and menu based combat- a very interesting concept.
Right now I playing Thief GOLD. A 1998 PC stealth based game done right. You are a thief armed with a sword, black jack, bow, and pure guile. Since you're not a parkour master, beyond professional sniper,(because if you think you can snipe with a bow you're dead wrong) or gun touting soldier you can just can't mow your way through a level. You really have to stick to the shadows and time your attacks to knock out (or back stab) the guards and rob the place clean of goods and artifacts. Even though its mission by mission, the expansive and often maze-like stages allow a good amount of freedom and exploration.
