The Exclusive Neoseeker Conduit Player Hangout

Introduction

Hey, come in! Welcome to the Prometheus Lounge! Oh, a first timer, eh? Hey, that's cool man, take off your coat and get comfortable. What's that? Your wondering what this place is, what it's all about? Well, I'll tell you!

This here is the premiere spot for the Neoseeker community interested in playing The Conduit for Nintendo Wii. We've got everything you could ever want, right here in this one convenient thread. Let me show you around.

First off, let me show you the General Lounge. Basically, this is going to replace the current General Discussion for all community based talk. Anything and everything you want to talk about is free game in here, so relax and have fun!

Moving on, we have the recreational area, what I like to call The Plaza. This here is our premiere feature, where all members of the community can participate in regularly held matches for fun. You can check out more about it here.

Now, over here is one of my favorite spots, the Wall Of Fame. We get all kinds of members with their pictures on this thing, for all different reasons. Who knows, maybe you'll even get honored up here too.

The final section of our place here is The Bunker. Only the bravest and most fierce of our members dare enter this place, as it is a group of our forums most powerful players. The Bunker not only recognizes these guys as the best, but gives them an opportunity to form a Neo team to compete with anyone!

So, I hope you enjoy your time here, and just grab me if you have any questions. Oh, me, you can call be bbb, and I run this place, nice to meet you.

I'm trying to get it unlocked to get the mark up code.

anyway, a challenge thread would be very fun. Hundreds of challenges could be thought up.

When I say honor system, I mean that people will be expected to tell the truth in the thread, but not provide concrete proof like screenshots of scores or something like that. I do imagine feats to be recorded in the thread and in the first posts of the PL.

I really like some of those ideas. They're like the mini games in my clan. Unfortunately, the forum is like the clan D:

still, I'd like to see a thread other then LCC to be active and fun. I'm all for it, bbb.

So, for the honor system, you mean if someone says something really awesome/quote worthy, then it can be recorded in a thread?

I was thinking more of an honor system. If someone says something really outlandish, I'm sure someone will call them out on it.

I was thinking a mix of on and offline challenges, ranging from mixing game types to regular matches. A couple of thoughts:

One Player Punch only: Finish the game on normal mode by only punching/ASE. Probably allow 1HKO for that one, otherwise it would just be way to boring to complete. Judging on speed and points

Sniping streets: In online, everyone plays streets, but can only shoot those across the street from them. Changing sides of the street is forbidden unless you are killed and spawn in the street itself.

'Nades Day: Only Grenades are allowed in an online match.

We could get them to take screenshots or record themselves, although not everyone can do that, myself included

I also really like the idea of a challenge thread. You guys' ideas are great

In a 3v3 Team Objective match, capture the other team's ASE without getting a single death or kill.

I think the challenge thread is a great idea, but it'd be cool if we could award people. The only problem is that we can't really know if they're telling the truth.

How about, "Beat the story within two hours" or something like that. Then something online like "Win three consecutive matches".

Wow, challenges thread. I would never thought of that.

Maybe we could have team objective and there is about 3 or 4 on the other team, and you gotta start at their ASE. Then you gotta try race across the map avoiding gun fire and make it back.

Oooo, look, Conduit 2 now appears as a sub forum instead of just a link.

So, I'm thinking of a new kind of challenges thread, anyone have good ideas for in game challenges, single or multiplayer?
